The Annual VII Corps Desert Storm Veterans Association Golf Tournament
TEE TIME: 0900 Hours
DATE: 16 September 2011
COST: $80.00 Includes Green Fees, Lunch, and Hole in One special gift (All proceeds go to the VII Corps DSVA Scholarship Fund).
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Captain’s Choice (Best Ball), Shotgun Start
FOOD: All you can eat Bar-B-Q, Drinks, and Keg of Beer
LOCATION: Meadows Farms Golf Course, 4300 Flat Run Road, Locust Grove, Virginia 22508. Telephone: 540-854-9890.
Home of The Longest Hole in The United States (Guinness Book of World Records) Number 12, 841 yards, par 6
HOLE SPONSORSHIP: A contribution of $500.00 toward sponsorship of a hole provides revenue for the association’s scholarship fund and two free green
fees.
DIRECTIONS: Take I-95 South from Springfield, VA to Fredericksburg, exit 130B. Exit on Route 3 West to Culpeper, VA. Proceed for approximately 15 miles,
just past the Chancellorsville Battlefield State Park, and turn left onto route 601. Proceed for about 2 miles on route 601, which ends at the golf course.
